🇨🇦 Toronto Food Guide: Delicious & Affordable Meals for Two!
Hey guys! I’ve been saving up so many food gems—time to dump some of my best recent finds! 😝 Here’s a roundup of tasty, wallet-friendly, and everyday-approved spots I’ve been loving over the past six months 🍚✨ 🍴 1. Bready 130 King St W, Toronto Great spot for brunch! Eggs Benedict, salmon bagel sandwiches—all under $20 🥯🍳 Flavorful and consistent. Perfect for a regular hangout! 🍴 2. Jin Myungdong Korean Noodles 230 Commerce Valley Dr E #9, Thornhill My new go-to Korean canteen (a bit far though 😅). They offer super satisfying combos like bossam + knife-cut noodles for around $20+. Healthy, tasty, and totally worth it! 🍴 3. Holi Taco 1636 Queen St E, Toronto If you’re heading to Woodbine Beach this summer, don’t miss this highly-rated taco spot! 🌮🌴 No need to make a special trip, but if you’re nearby—it’s a must. They carve al pastor right off the trompo (with a pineapple on top!). So good! 🍴 4. Bill’s Fried Chicken & Waffle (by Juicy Birds) 721 Pape Ave, Toronto Juicy Birds’ secret Uber kitchen serves THE BEST waffle-fried chicken burgers 🍗🧇 Right now: BUY ONE GET ONE FREE! Their Nashville Hot Chicken Slider is insane. 🍴 5. Kosam 4922 Yonge St, North York Summer must: samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) here! 🐔🍲 Also don’t skip their raw beef bibimbap—so flavorful. Since Charcoal & Salt is temporarily closed, this is your new bibimbap heaven 🥹 🍴 6. Yu Qin Wei A hidden gem for Chongqing cuisine! As a Chongqing native, I approve 😋 Their homemade douhua fan (tofu rice) is 80% similar to back home (a bit pricey though). The shaobao (steamed pork belly) and cured sausages/tongue are AUTHENTIC. Pleasant surprise! #TorontoFood #EatWellSpendLess
