π¨π¦ Victoria Island | Hidden Gem #2 Β· Beacon Hill Park
Canada | Victoria | A New Park Every Week #2 | Beacon Hill Park Living in Canada, every weekend Iβm thinking about where to explore next. Opened Google Maps and realized Victoria has so many parks β forests, coastlines, mountains, gardensβ¦ so I decided to visit them one by one! Todayβs choice: Beacon Hill Park on the west coast. Full of wild animals, long coastal trails, and if you love dogs, the off-leash dog park here unlocks hidden fun! πΎ π Location: Beacon Hill Park (closest bus stop: May at Cook) β Highlights: North American park landscapes β²οΈ, adorable animals π¦, long coastline π, dog park πΆ, ocean sunsets π Must-Visit Spots: Stone Bridge β Built in 1889 as part of John Blairβs landscape design for the park. ποΈ Goodacre Lake β A man-made lake from the same era, home to flocks of green-headed ducks. π¦ Sometimes they even line up along the shore! Wildlife Encounters β The park is filled with wild ducks, squirrels, and seagulls. Bring snacks to feed them (responsibly!). Thereβs also a petting farm with alpacas and goats, but it was closed when we went. π¦π Coastal Trail & Pier β At the end of the park, a long coastal trail leads to a pier with 280-degree views. Perfect for sunset watching! π Dog Park β An off-leash area where dogs can run wild and free. πβπ¦Ί Seaside Relaxation β Follow the path next to the pier down to the shore. Sit on weathered logs and listen to the waves β pure bliss! πͺ΅π #HiddenGems #CanadaTravel #CanadianParks #TravelGuide #VictoriaBC #BeaconHillPark #WestCoastVibes ππΆββοΈπΈ
