šØš¦ Victoria Nanaimo 4⣠What did you eat?
1ļøā£ Victoria Pocha Iām a total fan of Korean food and have tried tons of placesābut the pork elbow here might just be the best Iāve ever had! š Itās way better than the Korean spots in Coquitlamās K-Town. So good I canāt stop raving about itādefinitely a must-try if you love hearty, flavorful Korean dishes! ššš 2ļøā£ Kuma Noodle Japan Itās near the University of Victoria, and they say itās like a āstudent cafeteriaā for locals š Technically, itās a ramen shop, but their donburi (rice bowls) are unbeatableāeasily the best donburi Iāve ever had, even better than their ramen! The owner is a sweet Japanese grandma šµ Her English is basic, but simple conversations workāif you want to chat more, you might need a translator (or to speak Japanese!). 3ļøā£ Lighthouse Bistro & Pub (Nanaimo) We came here for oystersāoriginally wanted to dig our own, but we were short on time and had no tools, so a restaurant oyster feast it was! 𦪠The oysters are a bit pricey at $3.99 each, but we also ordered fried chicken, mussels, and cod tacos. The mussels and cod tacos were greatāwe polished those off quickly! š 4ļøā£ Uni Modern Japanese Restaurant We popped in when we were starving, so we didnāt even take photos š„² We ordered sushi, pineapple beef skewers, and wontons. The sushi was just okayāthe rice was super loose, so it fell apart when we tried to pick it up, though the fish was fresh. The pineapple beef skewers were nothing special either, but the wontons were decent. Itās edible, but we wonāt be going back š¬ We also snacked on some snacks and fast food we brought from Vancouverāgotta have those familiar bites too! š„¤ #Canada #CanadaLife #Vancouver #VancouverIsland #Victoria #VictoriaFood #VancouverSurroundings #Nanaimo #NanaimoGuide #Richmond
