🇨🇦 Whistler's Top-Tier Japanese Food You Won't Want to Miss! 🍣
With over 200 restaurants offering French, American, Italian, Indian, and Japanese cuisine, my absolute favorite in Whistler has to be the Japanese food! Since the 1980s, Whistler has been a popular ski destination for Japanese tourists. Today, it's still home to over 300 Japanese residents—which is why the Japanese restaurants here are seriously authentic. This particular restaurant was founded by three passionate skiers whose dream was simply… to ski in Whistler for life! 🏂 Despite family objections, they left Vancouver to start this business. Their love and dedication made it a huge success. ✨ Must-try dishes: 🥬 Spinach Gomaae A refreshing appetizer with sesame sauce—a classic must-order. 🦑 TAKO YAKI Grilled squid with sweet-salty sauce—so tasty and generous in portion! Tender, chewy, and deeply flavorful. This dish alone is worth the visit! 🦪 Oyster Motoyaki Baked oysters with cheese and spinach—melt-in-your-mouth delicious! We loved it so much we ordered another round. My favorite of the meal! 🍣 NIGIRI SUSHI PLATTER Salmon, tuna, sweet shrimp, and eel nigiri. Lightly torched for a warm, smoky flavor and silky texture. Absolutely divine! 📍 Sushi Village Japanese Restaurant 4340 Sundial Crescent, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4 #Whistler #WhistlerFood #VancouverBC #VancouverLife #VancouverEats #VancouverFoodie #ExploreBC #TravelBC #NorthAmerica #WhistlerAdventures #WhistlerDining #WhistlerTravel #SkiWhistler #JapaneseFood #FoodReview #VancouverFoodScene 🍱🍤🎌
