🇨🇦 Whistler Ski Guide 3️⃣: Where to Eat in the Village
So far, after four nights staying in Creekside, we’ve had three proper dinners and one brunch in the village. Dinners included pizza, pasta, and American BBQ. I picked places based on Google Maps ratings and aimed for good value – didn’t want anything too fancy (plus, the popular spots like Red Door Bistro were fully booked through February 😅). Big meals are saved for Vancouver! Google reviews did not disappoint. 🍕 Creekbread (Creekside) Price: ~CAD 30 per person after tax We ordered a large pizza – couldn’t finish it, so had leftovers for breakfast! Half special chicken, half smoked pork. The smoked pork was aromatic but included goat cheese – might not be for everyone, but if you like it, it’s delicious! The chicken side was cheesy and flavorful. 👍 🍝 Pasta Lupino (Whistler Village) Price: ~CAD 32.5 per person after tax Set menu with 5-6 pasta options (or custom order for more $). Comes with salad or soup. The lasagna was packed with spinach and meat – much better than the meatball pasta! Most dishes are tomato-based and slightly tangy. Service was slow – not enough staff. Parking: CAD 2.5/hour, free after 7 PM. 🥞 Southside Diner (Creekside) Price: ~CAD 35 per person after tax Mocha was way too sweet (not stirred well). Service was rushed. The deluxe beef burger was juicy and loaded with veggies – great for brunch! Poutine had thick-cut fries – I liked it. My friend’s meal was just okay. Very filling – kept us full till dinner! 🍖 Hunter Gather (Whistler Village) Price: ~CAD 44 per person after tax Self-order system. Casual service. The “Grant’s Platter for 2” could easily feed three. Includes two sides. Beef was flavorful, chicken wings (10+ pieces) were a hit. Pork ribs were average, but the smoked pulled pork underneath was great (I liked it; my friend didn’t). Garden salad and roasted potatoes were just okay. Highly recommended for meat lovers! 🥩 Will update if we try more spots! 🍽️ #WhistlerEats #WhistlerFood #SkiTrip #WhistlerBC #FoodGuide #BudgetEats #WhistlerVillage #EatLikeALocal 🎿🍕🍝
