πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Whistler Teppanyaki: Teppan Village 🍳πŸ”₯

A long-standing teppanyaki spot in the village run by a Japanese owner with an all-Japanese staff. While 20 years ago half the customers were Japanese tourists, the English-speaking staff here are very friendly! This place is all about the show – skilled performances and a lively atmosphere. It’s always popular, so be sure to book in advance for dinner! πŸ“žπŸ‘Œ The chefs introduce themselves and put on quite a show – from flaming tricks to impressive knife skills. Everything is professionally executed with that classic Japanese smile and hospitality 😊 The menu is simple: βœ… Steak, salmon, chicken, tiger prawns, scallops, and lobster are all worth ordering. ❌ But avoid the tofu and mushrooms – CAD 34 for two pieces of tofu and a small plate of mushrooms? 😬 Better go for 8 tiger prawns for just CAD 39! 🦐 Every teppanyaki set comes with fried rice, miso soup, and a salad. The more you order, the more sides you get – no way to say no! πŸ˜‚ They didn’t have the sake we wanted, so we brought our own (CAD 20 corkage fee). If it’s on their menu, outside alcohol isn’t allowed – standard rule at most Western and Japanese restaurants. A great choice when you need a break from heavy Western food! πŸ₯’ 🌹 Teppan Village πŸ“ 301 - 4293 Mountain Square, Whistler, BC #Vancouver #VancouverTravel #VancouverFoodie #WhistlerEats #WhistlerFood #Teppanyaki #JapaneseFood #FoodReview #FoodieAdventure #WhistlerBC πŸ”οΈπŸΆ
