📍 60 Commercial St #306, Nanaimo, BC V9R 5G4 This ice cream shop in Nanaimo is probably in the Downtown area. The space inside is decent, though there aren’t many seats. Maybe it’s winter, but the selection of ice cream flavors and types was pretty limited—none of the popsicles I’d seen on Google Reviews were available, and the staff looked a bit lethargic too 😕. All their ice creams are the creamy type, and they say they’re all handmade—you can ask for a taste. The holiday season flavors all have cinnamon added, which I’m not a fan of, but they seemed to be selling well. I went for a Kids Scoop—it’s not too big or too small, but the price still feels a bit steep😕. ✅ Tea & Baileys 💰4.99 The ice cream itself is quite refreshing, not too sweet, and has a strong tea aroma. The description says they blend Earl Grey tea and Baileys into their vanilla cream base—fun marketing, but it basically tastes like baked milk tea! The texture isn’t super smooth, though—there are little gritty bits in each bite. Maybe vanilla seeds? I can’t think of another reason. The nice surprise: after finishing the whole scoop, there’s no greasy aftertaste—instead, the tea fragrance lingers in your mouth and throat. All in all, it’s not worth going out of your way for, but if you’re passing by or in the area, it’s worth a try! 🍦 #Canada #CanadaFood #VancouverIsland #Victoria #Foodie #LifeSnippets #FoodTour #MyDailyLife #RestaurantRecommendation #GlobalFoodSquad #FoodCheckIn #SoloDining #EatsAndTreats #Nanaimo #IceCream #IceCreamShop #MilkTeaIceCream
