🇩🇪 Berlin Food | It Really Lives Up to the Hype 🥢

After seeing tons of posts about this new place, I was totally craving it — finally got to try it when visiting a friend nearby! Two hungry souls navigated straight there 🚗💨 We wanted to order almost everything on the menu 😍 Ended up painfully choosing five dishes (RIP veggies 🌿😅): 🌶️ Chicken Feet & Pork Intestine Hotpot The chicken feet were fall-off-the-bone tender, intestines cleaned well — super fragrant and perfect with rice! 🌶️ Dry Pot Spicy Pig Trotter Took me right back to night market grilled pig trotters in China — hot, chewy, zero greasiness! 🌶️ Sichuan Spicy Chicken A bit mild for me, chicken wasn’t fully flavored 🍗… My friend said it tasted more like popcorn chicken 😂 🌶️ Garlic Pork Belly As a garlic lover, I found the garlic flavor not strong enough. Not bad but not wow either~ 🌶️ Salt & Pepper Chicken Skin Surprise hit! 🙀 I normally skip chicken skin, but this was crispy, non-greasy, and totally snackable — perfect binge-watching food! 🥤 Their homemade lemon tea was refreshing too! Verdict: Highly recommend 👍 We caught the soft opening 20% discount — super good deal 💰❤️ Staff were also super friendly! Later Additions: 🌶️ Dry Pot Intestine — still delicious, mildly spicy and savory 🌶️ Mother’s Trotters Soup — tender, zero gaminess, so warming in winter ❄️🔥 🌶️ Vegetarian Chicken Pot — slightly sweet, not really my type (I prefer savory soy products) 🌶️ Dry-Fried String Beans — reliable and safe choice Latest Updates: 🐟 Steamed Fish — simple and tasty 🦁 Lion’s Head Meatball (8€) — my new FAVE! Broth is incredibly fresh, not oily. Wanted to ask for more soup 😆 Perfect portion for one (must eat hot!) 🍗 Dry Pot Chicken — numbing, peppery, aromatic — ideal with rice! 📍 Shu Wei Fang - Szechuan House (Paul-Lincke-Ufer 45, 10999 Berlin) 💶 ~€30 pp (after discount, overordered + took leftovers 🍱) Second visit (6 dishes, 4 people): ~€20 per person — great value! #Germany #GermanLife #Berlin #BerlinLife #BerlinFood #ChineseFood #SichuanCuisine
