Where do I begin! This was a complete weird experience. So when we arrived we asked for a table for two and it took them a while to actually agree to give us a table. They repeatedly asked; âtable for twoâ and we kept saying yes⊠while they gave us strange looks. We got the impression that it might be full and they donât have free tables. At this point, I was extremely pressed, so I went to use the toilet while my friend was waiting for a table. When I got back my friend was just getting ready by the table we got. Funny thing is that whole section of the restaurant was completely empty. So we wondered why it took them that long to give us a table.
Then it took a while before we could order. We even tried to go call them. We eventually ordered. We were quite hungry, it felt like the food took forever to come. Some of the food finally came and the waitress literally threw my food on the table sliding it across the table and walked away without even saying which dish it is⊠so we quickly shouted for her attention so she could tell us whoâs food it is⊠that was really unpleasant. The couple who came and sat next us saw the whole thing and also questioned what was wrong with the waitress⊠The next waitress who brought the rest of the food was ok. The food tasted just ok. When it was time to pay, the staff were all of a sudden somewhat nice. We felt so confused. We even joked about it saying âone goes through mixed feelings and emotions in that restaurantâ
I hope others will have a better experience...
Read morefor those seeking authentic szechuan cuisine and that means spicy!! also.. the cooks have a next level impressive talent for frying, very light airy crispy thin layer (i.e. the aubergine dish showcases that amongst others). The portion and quality to price ratio is unbeatable, even the appetizers. not to mention, rice is unlimited. there are also sooo many unique dishes, over 100. some may not realize what incredible skill it takes to be able to cook all of them at any given time.
i adore that this restaurant because it doesnât hold back on itâs authenticity, even in a city that is not that receptive to spiciness, especially the mouth-numbing type.
tips for having the best time here.. skip the german-chinese page of the menu and just go for the authentic chinese dishes to share because that is their specialty and it is where they shine. And i would go when it is not full outside and inside because it is visibly a lot of people for them to service so naturally the quality might suffer.
on an ending note, it saddens me whenever people misjudge asian gastronomy culture. The focus is on the quality of food and getting it to you asap. the showmanship is in the food and not how it arrives at your table. there is also no explanation about a dish unless you ask. if youâre seeking to be apathetic, thatâs what youâll see. i have experienced such heart warming service here, for example, offering me additional rice to go with my leftovers so i can have a full meal ready to go.

Read moreI was with a friend and her kid here. And I donât think they treated us nicely, Iâm disappointed with the service.
My friend highly recommended me this place, because she had been here twice, and the kid also talking about how good the steamed bun was the whole time.
When we arrived, we found out that they changed their menu completely, we couldnât find the food that my friend ordered last month. So in the end we only ordered beef potato stew and spring rolls.
We were two adults and one kid, they only served us two pairs of chopsticks. When we asked for one more pair. They said to us with a sarcastic tone âoh cause you only ordered one dishâ.
I couldnât tell how I felt after I heard this, and as we got our food, it tasted pretty good, but almost half of the beef were pure fat.
Although the environment was good, pnice decorated, but I donât think I would...
