đ©đȘ Berlin Food | The Best Restaurant I've Tried Recently! đ
Over a year ago, I passed by this place while eating the terrible Tori-Katsu next door and was attracted by the decor and atmosphere. I saved it on my map but only finally got to try it today. After dining here, I really regret not discovering this hidden gem earlier! đ đ Causa con Pulpo al Olivo : Octopus and mashed potato appetizer. The octopus is super fragrant and perfectly roasted! The mashed potatoes have a hint of bell pepper, reminiscent of the green pepper and potato stir-fry from back homeâdelicious! Paired with a light avocado sauce and an olive-yolk sauce that has a slightly salty, doubanjiang-like flavor. Alone, the sauce might seem odd, but together, itâs surprisingly tasty! đ„ đ Pulpo a la Parrilla con Chimichurri : The grilled octopus, perhaps because itâs larger, isnât as fragrant as the appetizer, but itâs still great. Itâs naturally salty and doesnât need extra seasoning. The side dishesâroasted potatoes and green beansâare excellent, and the accompanying yellow pepper and arugula sauce, along with the green sauce, really enhance the dish! đŠ đ Anticuchos de Carne : The beef skewers are incredibly tender and fragrant. The moment theyâre served, the aroma makes your mouth water! The yellow pepper sauce is delicious on its own, and the side dishes include roasted potatoes and huge corn kernels. At first, we thought they were cloves of garlic, but theyâre actually a type of South American corn known for its large kernels. đœ -Octopus and mashed potato appetizer: The octopus is super fragrant and perfectly roasted! However, after one bite, we discovered that the tangy mango sauce completely masked the cinnamon flavor. The cake was airy and rich in dairy flavor. The ice cream, likely homemade, was very generous, and even the decorative cookie crumbs and berries on top were sweet and fragrant, clearly showing the chefâs attention to detail. đ° Our meal ended with my friend and me constantly exclaiming, âDelicious, delicious!â The careful pairing of each dishâs sauce was impressive. Overall, both the service and the dishes were impeccableâdefinitely the best restaurant Iâve been to recently! đ âïžReservations are a must! Otherwise, youâll likely miss out. Itâs best to book at least a day in advance. Like us, if you book on the same day, you might encounter a busy restaurant that hasnât confirmed your reservation in time, leading to a wait for a last-minute arrangement. đ Rocoto đ° 40⏠per person #Germany #LifeInGermany #Berlin #BerlinLife #BerlinFood
