Arrived at night, left at dawn—so only had ONE full day to explore! The gloomy morning drizzle totally matched Berlin’s vibe. 🔴 Itinerary 🕰️ World Clock → 📡 TV Tower → ⛪ Berlin Cathedral (photo spot 📍Adolph-Diesterweg-Denkmal) → 🏛️ Brandenburg Gate → 🎻 Berlin Philharmonic (free Wed concert!) → 🛂 Checkpoint Charlie → 🎨 East Side Gallery → 📸 Photoautomat (retro b&w pics!) 🎻 Philharmonic Highlight: ▸ Free Wednesday concert at 1 PM—arrived at 12:20 and stairs were already packed! Stood for clarinet + piano + viola (magical ✨). ▸ Paid concerts here. 🏠 Stay Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz ✔️ 5-min walk to World Clock, near metro. ✔️ 6-bed female dorm w/ bathroom (only £25 for 2 nights via Trip.com deal!). 🚇 Transport ✔️ BVG app (AB zone for sights + ABC for airport). ✔️ Strike alert! Trains/buses froze—walked everywhere (luckily, distances were short!). 🌭 Food Curry 61 (Alexanderplatz) ▸ Famous currywurst + fries (€5.80)—ask for ketchup/mayo + "spicy" (but weak 🌶️). ▸ Warning: Tomato sauce avalanche = salty!
