First try of Currywurst, and not really knowing what to expect, was pleasantly surprised! Walked past here a few times and there was often a queue as well as a crowd of people sat along the wall outside. We called in one evening when it was quieter and managed to stand at the table inside. The sausage itself was the highlight, for sure. Much better quality than I expected it to be. The sauce is more of a sweet curry, not particularly spicy hot, but tasty. Opted for chips with ours, which were less good, tasted a bit greasy, maybe because it was late in the day, and there was probably a bit too much mayo & ketchup on top. Think just getting a couple of Currywurst on their own would be a better idea.

We looked around for somewhere to eat. Currywurst was always on our list of things to eat first. We walked past this place and it had a queue outside. I’m a strong believer in if there is a queue the food must be good. Service was good and perfect English which always helps. Ordered the Kombi which was chips and CurryWurst, extra chips and I will call it a hot dog but was a massive sausage in a bun. I’m not a sausage fan but this was so good. Like really good. Not salty and full of flavour. It was a really good stop for a bite to eat, standing room only but well worth it. €12 for the pleasure. Amazing.

If you like any curry wurst then you will definitely be happy, but i would not say it is the best curry wurst I've had. I had better. But the staff was friendly and the prices are absolutely okay for what you get. Unfortunately there is so mich going there, that you have no place to really eat. We had the combo, which included the curry wurst and some fries. You can get, if you like extra mayo or ketchup on top, with extra charge. If you choose the have you fries plain, like we did, then it's a bit sad. There is not enough of the curry sauce to dip in your fries. After all it was not bad. Off to the next location

The food is OK. Just fried potatoes aka french fries with either ketchup or mayo ( thick & creamy) mixed in with curry powder. The sausage is pretty generic for me. €5.20 for the combo. The staff is pretty good, fast, English speaking, offering apple pay or contactless payment ( plus 🌟). It’s one of the hot spot for tourists to try German street food . Grab a beer, then head to the near by park with local street music performer and ppl watching. Chill for the night. Plenty of convenient stores nearby to buy alcohol. It doesn’t hurt if you don’t try it. The line might be intimidating but moving quickly.

It was life changing! I never expected to like the famous Currywurst of Berlin, I just wanted to try it for the sake of not regretting it later, but I loved it! It's a whole experience! The flavors of traditional German cuisine mixed with intricate oriental spice, it's like two worlds colliding! The sauce was also amazing! And the Kartoffelsalat- what a fantastic way to eat potatoes. The lady at the counter was a professional- you could tell she was serving every Currywurst with love and not sparing the delicious sauce. Also loved the vibe and the creative interior of this place!

Not far from Hackescher Markt, this famous place have one of the known German fast food dish: wurst with curry sauce. I went there during a food tour with wonderful Samantha from "BiteBerlin Tour", and as an English that lives in Berlin for 10 years, she claim that this Currywurts is one of the best and also cheap. I got the wurst and french fries with lots od sauce in a paper plate and small plastic fork and it was hot and very good! There are many Currywursts in Berlin but some of them are pricy especialy near the heavy tourism sites. Go to Orianburger street it is worth it!
