đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș Blum CafĂ© in Mannheim – Rumor Has It, It’s the Top Cake Spot!

After seeing rave reviews calling it Mannheim’s hidden gem 🏆, I finally paid a visit. Unfortunately, the cake selection that day wasn’t particularly exciting—mostly classic German-style cakes. I went with the blueberry cream cake đŸ«. It was decent—huge portion, loads of light and high-quality cream, a biscuit base, and a layer of blueberry jam on top. Not too sweet, but still
it got a bit heavy after a while. One slice could easily last you all afternoon. 😅 Interestingly, other customers also seemed hesitant—everyone ended up ordering the same blueberry cream cake. By the time I left, it was the only one almost sold out. What really stood out wasn’t the cake though—it was the vibe and service! đŸ„° The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The interior is super instagrammable—fresh green and blue tones, chic and cheerful. 📾✹ They recently launched iced coffee (€6.50) 🧊—you can choose between iced latte with vanilla syrup or affogato-style topped with ice cream. Not on the menu though—gotta ask! There's outdoor seating too (very German 👍), but the courtyard is a bit rough compared to the beautiful indoors. Worth a try if you’re around, and it’s easy to get to. But honestly
 Heidelberg has better options—like Tiefburg. 😉 📍Blum GmbH Schwetzinger Str. 92, 68165 Mannheim #Mannheim #GermanCakes #HeidelbergLife #HeidelbergUni #CafeHopping #GermanyFoodDiary
