unfortunately, the experience with this sweets manufacturer changed over the years. Formerly known as one of the best and exclusive bakeries 🧁 in Mannheim it looks like they are saturated too much. The fact that the last birthday 🎂 cake 🍰wasn’t eatable at all their reaction was “…why didn’t you bring it overnight back as return while the celebration…”. Indeed, this might be an unique exception but with such a stubborn behavior you cannot fix customer relations properly. For me Herrdegen remains as last quality option in town for special wishes and always a good quality. However, the good times still remain in my memories but from now on this is the last option to order anything again in Rhein Neckar region. Ok, so this is my favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot, and I go there every week.

The atmosphere is laid back and the service is great. The service is friendly, professional, and top notch.

The coffee is quite delicious and can be ordered in several ways. The food is always hot and fresh. The bread is also hot and fresh. Fresh juice pairs nicely with the food, and is quite refreshing.

The restaurant is clean and tidy.
