Just tried Hokkaido BBQ’s soft opening – and it did NOT disappoint! 🍢🔥 Real charcoal grill – what a pleasant surprise!!! 🦞 The star of the night: CRAWDADS! We ordered 1.5kg for five people – we even finished the cucumbers at the bottom! Spicy, flavorful, and the perfect blend of freshness and heat. Absolutely addictive! 🤤🌶️ 🍢 Unique BBQ Flavors: If you like Korean-style sauces, you’ll love this! The brushed sauce is something I’ve never tasted before – slightly sweet, slightly spicy, totally delicious. The fish tofu, fish balls, and grilled tofu with that sauce? UNREAL. 🤯 🦪 Grilled Oysters: So aromatic – and that broth inside each shell… sip it and taste the ocean! 🌊😍 🌭 Starch Sausage (Classic Street Snack): Charred on the charcoal grill, crispy outside, tender inside, sprinkled with dry seasoning… One bite and I was transported back to my childhood in China. Nostalgia overload! ✈️😭 🍖 Lamb Skewers: Perfect fat-to-lean ratio – so juicy and fragrant! A must-order. 🥰 🍗 (Orleans-style Wings): Pretty standard – but tasty. I make great ones at home too though 😉 🧂 Note: Almost all skewers are brushed with sauce – it got a bit too sweet toward the end. We told the owner, and she said they’ll adjust the recipe soon.
