π©πͺ Bonn Day Trip Part 1
Our first stop: Bonn City Walk πΆββοΈ With a history of over 2,000 years and a population of 300,000, Bonn served as the capital of West Germany until 1990. πΈ First stop: Cherry Blossom Avenue Unfortunately, we arrived a bit too late β the cherry blossoms had already fallen. Still, it was a pleasant stroll! π΅ Second stop: Beethoven-Haus This two-story pink building at Bonngasse 20 was once home to the musical genius Beethoven. The β¬14 entrance fee, however, convinced me to admire it from the outside. ποΈ Third stop: University of Bonn The main building, formerly the Electoral Palace, stands out brilliantly in yellow against lush green lawns. ποΈ At noon, the area was filled with students eating lunch and chatting on the grass. βοΈ Fun fact: The University of Bonn was born out of the 18th-century Enlightenment movement and has produced 7 Nobel Prize winners! ππ #Bonn #BonnCherryBlossoms #BeethovenHouse #UniversityOfBonn
