🇩🇪 Düsseldorf | A Super Healing Deer Park Visit!

Lately I’ve been loving finding places where I can just relax and unwind. Last week, I specifically visited Wildpark Grafenberg in Düsseldorf — hoping to be surrounded by cute deer. Well… reality had a little surprise in store 😂 We arrived around 11 AM and found that most of the deer were separated by fences. Every now and then, we’d spot one grazing peacefully in the distance, but none came close to us… I have to admit I was a little disappointed 🥹. Later I learned that around noon, the deer are usually already full and resting — they tend to be pretty lazy at that time! Also, the park sometimes puts up fences temporarily to protect them from too much human interaction. (So if you want to get up close with the deer, make sure to come early in the morning! 🦌 They’re much more active then!) Even though it wasn’t the “deer paradise” I imagined, walking through the forest was still incredibly calming and refreshing ✨. I’m already planning to go back one early morning — hoping next time I’ll finally get to meet them properly! 📌 Tips: 📍 Address: Wildpark Grafenberg, 40629 Düsseldorf 🦌 Deer love apples! 🍎 Cut them into small pieces beforehand. There’s also a feed vending machine in the park (€1 per portion). 👟 Wear sports shoes — the park is quite large with unpaved forest paths. 🌄 Come early + be patient — your chances of encountering the deer will be much higher! #Düsseldorf #DeerPark #SlowLivingGermany #HonestReview
