🇩🇪 Düsseldorf | Asian Food Review!!!

Düsseldorf is literally a paradise for Asian cuisine—I ate nonstop all weekend and still wish I could stay longer… 😋🍜 🍗 Sojubar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Korean Fried Chicken Ordered beef bibimbap + honey butter fried chicken + two beers. The fried chicken was HUGE and super tasty! Bibimbap was solid too. Didn’t plan to come here originally—just found it near the train station—but it was a delicious and affordable surprise! 💶 Total: €47.5 | ~€25 per person 🍗 Zero Banchi ⭐️⭐️ | Japanese Tried the popular eel rice bowl + tempura udon. Pretty average—rich at first but got heavy quickly. Portions weren’t generous either. 💶 Total: €41.6 | ~€21 per person 🍗 KUMO ⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Desserts Got chestnut ice cream + Oreo dorayaki. Just okay—pretty standard flavors. The ice cream had cereal at the bottom 🍦… 💶 Total: €12 | ~€6 per item 🍗 Sholong Kang Hot Pot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Chinese Hot Pot Ordered beef, lamb rolls, shrimp paste with preserved vegetable, wide noodles, ox tongue, bamboo shoots, and tripe platter. Maybe it’s because I hadn’t had hot pot in ages, but my first bite with the sesame oil dip almost made me cry 🥲😭. So yes, 5 stars might be biased—but it was THAT satisfying. Skip the bamboo shoots (not crispy), but everything else was great. A bit pricey though. 💶 Total: €105.3 | ~€55 per person 🍗 Gogi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Korean BBQ Got the G3 beef BBQ set + raw beef bibimbap + two beers. Really tasty! They served a ton of side dishes—half the table was covered 😂. The BBQ and bibimbap were delicious 🤤, but portions were small. The “1-2 person” beef platter was barely enough for one hungry person… hence one star off. 💶 Total: €71.8 | ~€35 per person 🍗 The Alley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Bubble Tea Tried the new matcha strawberry bursting pearl drink—no words needed. The Alley totally outshines most bubble tea places in Germany 🧋💚. 🍗 On My List for Next Time: Yabase: Closed Sun-Mon… really wanted to try their sashimi bowl 😢 Kochi: Fully booked—couldn’t get in!
