🇩🇪 German Town Tour — Kassel
🏞️ Wilhelmshöhe Park (Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe) 🎫 Free entry! As the largest hillside park in Europe, it’s perfect for hiking 🥾. You can take a tram from the train station to the foot of the mountain at Wilhelmshöhe (Park) station and start climbing from there. Alternatively, begin your walk downhill from the hilltop at Wilhelmshöhe Palace 🏛️. Navigate to *Schlosspark 28, 34131 Kassel-Bad Wilhelmshöhe* (I personally recommend this route—it’s less tiring!). From here, you’ll get a stunning bird’s-eye view of the water channels and the town below 📸. 🍽️ Halfway down the mountain, near the Neptungrotte landmark, there’s a restaurant called Kaskadenwirtschaft Grischäfer 🍴. During my visit, it suddenly started snowing heavily ❄️, so I warmed up with a simple meal while waiting for the snow to stop. After a relaxing break, I continued walking downward through the park. The entire route takes about 2-3 hours. 🧌 Grimm World Museum (Grimmwelt) In the city, there’s a museum dedicated to the lives and works of the Brothers Grimm. The exhibition space isn’t huge and is popular with families and children 👨👩👧👦. The first floor often features special interactive exhibits—like swinging on an indoor swing while wearing AR glasses 🕶️🎠! Note: You may need to take a number and wait in line for about 30 minutes. #ThisTemplateIsInteresting #CaptureTheMoment
