🇩🇪 Germany Isn’t a Food Desert After All! 😋
Unexpectedly ended up trying three Thai restaurants in Hannover — here’s the rundown: 1️⃣ Khao Thai The sweet and spicy fish was pretty tasty 🐟🌶️, and the basil minced pork stir-fry was decent too 🍃. The Thai tea at all three places was similarly sweet, but this one offers matcha and other flavours! 🍵 2️⃣ Siam Thai A bit further out location-wise. The fish here is huge — priced by weight 🐠! We went for a braised-like sauce and medium spice (didn’t dare try "Thai scharf" — heard it’s crazy hot 🔥). The Pad Thai was also good. ⚠️ But be warned: service is sloooow 🐢... They cook one table at a time. We waited 1.5 hours — were literally starving by the time food came. In China, a place this slow wouldn’t survive lol… 3️⃣ Ruentai Near Hauptbahnhof (central station) 🚉. Pretty average — we ordered two curries 🍛. Safe choices, but nothing special. The fish came in pieces, not whole — a bit underwhelming 🐟😐. So yeah — Hannover’s got some decent Thai options! Not a total food desert after all 🌸✌️. #Hannover #ThaiFood #GermanFoodie #EatInHannover #NotAFoodDesert
