🇩🇪 Hannover, Germany | 7 Must-Try Food Spots 🍜🥢
1️⃣ Sindo Japanese Restaurant 💁 ~€70 (2 pax) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A fantastic Japanese spot — small and unassuming from the outside, but the food is amazing! The owner speaks Chinese. 📍 Podbielskistraße 14, 30163 2️⃣ Chois Korean Restaurant 💁 ~€60 (2 pax) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A bit pricey but worth it! Their BBQ is tender and flavorful — both marinated and non-marinated meats are delicious. Boneless fried chicken is a hit, but the seafood pancake and soups are just okay. 📍 Lister Meile 61, 30161 3️⃣ Dao Chinese Restaurant 💁 ~€50 (2 pax) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️ Serves dim sum and soy milk! Portions are small, perfect for trying multiple dishes. Recommended: Dry-fried beef hor fun and cumin ribs. Their soy milk is great, too. 📍 Röselerstraße 5, 30159 4️⃣ Fernost Chinese Restaurant 💁 ~€30 (2 pax) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ My favorite Chinese restaurant in Hannover — delicious and affordable! Must-tries: spicy chicken, fish-fragrant pork, braised pork knuckle, boiled fish… honestly, everything! 📍 Deisterstraße 28, 30159 5️⃣ Maojia Restaurant 💁 ~€50 (2 pax) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️ All-you-can-eat hotpot with per-person pricing. Similar to “Hannover No.8,” but I still prefer “Xiao Long Kan” for broth. Other AYCE hotpot places taste pretty standard. 📍 Podbielskistraße 157, 30177 6️⃣ Hannover No.8 Food Quarter (Hotpot) Rating: ❤️❤️❤️ Hotpot is comparable to others, but the location is more convenient. Their stir-fried dishes are hit or miss — lighter ones are bland or too salty, but heavily seasoned ones are decent. 📍 Nordmannpassage 8, 30159 7️⃣ Singapore Chinese Restaurant Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A large, tasty Chinese restaurant great for big groups. Highly recommend the spicy beef tripe!! 🌶️ Also try green pepper pork intestines and boiled beef. downside: the location is a bit out of the way. 📍 Haltenhoffstraße 191, 30419 #Hannover #GermanFood #FoodGuide #EatInHannover
