Name: Siam Thai Restaurant Address: Vahrenwalder Str. 18, 30165 Hannover Average price: around €20 per person 🔥 We ordered everything “Thai scharf” (Thai spicy), and it was seriously hot — and I’m someone who normally handles spicy instant noodles and fire-noodle challenges without breaking a sweat! 😅 If you’re not big on spice, go for “normal scharf” — that’s probably what Germans consider spicy 🌶️. We tried: A fried platter with crispy pork belly, fish balls, squid rings, and chicken wings Papaya salad with fresh marinated crabs 🦀 Rice noodles mixed with the papaya salad Everything was incredibly spicy but super addictive — painful yet satisfying! 😋 We also had basil minced pork stir-fry 🐷 — a classic Thai dish that’s fragrant, flavorful, and perfect with rice. No surprise there, it’s always good! Another must-try is their signature whole tilapia fish 🐟 — deep-fried and soaked in a tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet chili sauce. Unique and hard to find elsewhere! (They offer other sauce options too.) ❗️❗️❗️ Important tip: Ask the staff for the THAI menu! ❗️❗️❗️ The regular German menu doesn’t include these special dishes. The Thai menu has brief German descriptions, and you can use Google Translate with camera mode 📸 to figure things out.
