🇩🇪 Leipzig, Germany — Truly Worth a Visit! ✨🏛️
After many years, I’m back in Germany — and this time, my first stop is Leipzig 🚉, the largest city in former East Germany and one of the country’s key hubs. The city center of Leipzig is compact and was heavily damaged during the war, but it has been beautifully restored. 🏗️✨ Historical sites have been carefully preserved in their original style, showcasing the unique charm of German architecture. Must-visit attractions: 1️⃣ Leipzig Zoo 🐯🌴 — Absolutely the top attraction! In my opinion, it’s one of the best zoos in Europe — maybe even the world. Its recreated tropical rainforest is something you won’t see elsewhere. The chimpanzee enclosure is nearly as vast as those in wildlife parks — extremely animal-friendly. Here, animals and humans are on more equal terms: you don’t just look down at them — you have to “search for the animals.” 🦍👀 2️⃣ St. Thomas Church / St. Nicholas Church ⛪ — Classic German churches. They’re decent — worth a quick visit. 3️⃣ Old Town Hall / New Town Hall 🏛️ — Highly recommended! Impressive and grand architecture. 4️⃣ Former Imperial Supreme Court ⚖️🏰 — Strongly recommended! A majestic and awe-inspiring historical site. 5️⃣ Market Square 📸 — A typical German city square, perfect for photos. All in all, Leipzig is a great place for a relaxing day trip! 🌞🧳 #Germany #TravelEurope #Travel #Leipzig 🇩🇪❤️
