🇩🇪 Leipzig, Germany
Leipzig was the second-largest city in former East Germany. What made me fall in love at first sight was how harmoniously the old and new architectures blend here—different materials, different colors, yet nothing feels out of place. And oh, the rooftops here are absolutely mesmerizing! 🏘️✨ Must-visit spots in Leipzig include: The Old Market Square & Old Town Hall Leipzig University 🎓 For classical music lovers: Mendelssohn House, Bach Museum, and St. Thomas Church (don’t miss the organ performance!) 🎶 St. Nicholas Church – though honestly, I didn’t even take a photo of these two churches. Europe has way too many beautiful churches, and these two aren’t particularly standout. 😅 Fun fact: The New Town Hall looks more like an ancient castle or palace! 🏰 Can you guess what those colorful tulips are for? 🌷 The cafés here are always packed—not sure why. Maybe some famous musicians used to hang out there? ☕ I tried a piece of cake, and I have to say… German desserts are sweet, but that’s about it. 🍰 Once on a train, I asked a German what I must try, and he said desserts. I asked what’s special, and he explained how Germans always bring sweets to family gatherings. His mom recommended one, and let’s just say… I tried it, checked it off the list, and moved on. ✅😆 Other highlights: The beautifully designed train station 🚉 A modern-style church ⛪ A bicycle parade over 500 meters long 🚴♂️, with police escort! It was a city-organized event to promote cycling, and families with kids were everywhere. So wholesome! #TravelGermany #Leipzig #BeautyThroughMyEyes #GlobalTravel 🌍✈️
