🇩🇪 Leipzig Antique Market Treasure Hunt 🧭✨
At the end of each month, a huge antique market takes place at Leipzig’s agra Messepark! 🗓️ It has both indoor and outdoor sections – the outdoor part feels more like a flea market, while the real collector’s items are inside. Two massive halls are packed with everything from porcelain to paintings! 🖼️🍶 I spotted a stunning Royal Vienna cobalt blue coffee cup ☕️, but unfortunately it was cracked – and the seller still asked for €100! 💸🙄 Pure daylight robbery… A word of advice: take your time and compare prices. Many vendors here are professional dealers, and some prices are just unreal. For example, I saw a Nymphenburg white lion porcelain figure 🦁 – the same one I bought for €40 at Berlin’s flea market was priced here at €80. Not cool… 😒 I did end up with some treasures though! 🎉 From two different stalls, I picked up: Three Meissen cup & saucer sets 🫖 A pair of vintage wine glasses 🍷 A Royal Albert cup & saucer set 🌸 The prices weren’t exactly cheap, but I got a small discount – so not a wasted trip! I’m actually not the biggest fan of English porcelain (the quality feels less refined compared to German pieces), but they’re pretty enough to display in the cabinet. Hopefully one day I’ll complete a full set! 🥹📦 All in all – it’s a massive market, but the indoor section isn’t particularly budget-friendly (especially compared to some Berlin flea markets and vintage stores). Come prepared with price research and bargaining skills! 💬🪙 #Leipzig #VintageMarket #PorcelainLove #FleaMarketFinds #EuropeAntiques 🇩🇪🏺
