đŠđŞ Must-Try Foods in Frankfurt Based on My Experience
đšđˇ Turkish Restaurant - ĂnlĂź Kebap Rating: âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Their chicken shawarma is the best Iâve ever had â thinly sliced, crispy like bacon, and incredibly flavorful. The homemade spicy sauce is absolutely addictive đ¤¤: sweet, spicy, and perfect with garlic sauce. Their kebabs are also delicious and huge! We went three times during our three-day stay in Frankfurt and tried different dishes each time â never disappointed. Rich flavors, great prices, and open almost 24/7. Highly recommend! Must-tries: chicken wrap, chicken sandwich, and chicken/lamb kebab! đŠđŞ Popular German Restaurant on Xiaohongshu - RĂśmer Pils Brunnen Rating: âď¸âď¸âď¸ Huge portions but a bit pricey! The German sausages were tasty, but the pork chop was a bit dry (even with sauce). Also, side dishes cost extra â not cool. Recommend: German sausages, beer đş, and apple cider! đŠđŞ Another German Restaurant (Heidelberg) - Wirtshaus am Uniplatz Rating: âď¸âď¸âď¸ Tried the German pork knuckle â the skin was over-fried and super tough. If you donât have strong teeth, youâve been warned! The taste was just⌠okay. Go with an open mind to try something local, and you wonât be too disappointed. Nice atmosphere though â German food just isnât my thing, and thatâs not their fault 𤣠âď¸ CafĂŠ & Dessert - Tucano Coffee & Wine MyZeil Rating: âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Their cheesecake was rich and creamy without being overly sweet. The matcha-yuzu drink was a perfect balance of yuzuâs freshness and matchaâs mild bitterness. Highly recommend! We tried two well-rated German restaurants, but still found the food a bit⌠meh. Maybe growing up in đ¨đł and living in đ¨đŚ has made me picky with all the amazing Chinese food and North American fast options đ For those traveling to Germany, Iâd recommend trying Middle Eastern cuisine besides the not-so-authentic Chinese food! #FrankfurtFood #FrankfurtTravel #HiddenGems #FrankfurtFair #FrankfurtFoodGuide #WeekendInFrankfurt #FrankfurtLife #AroundFrankfurt
