Frankfurt. Food | Römer Pils Brunnen German Pork Knuckle 🍖

So delicious! I checked in at the local spot Römer Pils Brunnen~ The hotel guy recommended Dax, but it wasn't open yet, so I had to do a city walk first. When I got hungry, I searched on Google Maps for a highly-rated local spot... After hesitating for a moment and saying goodbye to Fisch Franke (which also looked tempting based on online reviews and the display at the window), I chose the more local Römer Pils Brunnen. It was still early, and the friendly waiter seated me by the window for two (Awesome!). I was indecisive whether to choose sausages, pork knuckle, or schnitzel, which I often come across in my Duolingo practice 😆. The waitress said you can get sausages elsewhere, even for breakfast~ I'd recommend the pork knuckle! So... I actually, unbelievably, almost finished an entire large pork knuckle! The sauerkraut was completely gone 🤣🤣🤣. I paired it with a big mug of Apfelwein apple wine! So, it was really about eating meat in big bites and drinking in large gulps! As usual, the bill, apple wine + pork knuckle €31.8... I don't know if it was the alcohol content of the apple wine or just being too tired from walking, but I was a bit tipsy 😂😂. #Frankfurt #FrankfurtFood #FrankfurtLife #FrankfurtExplore #FrankfurtRestaurantRecommendation
