🇩🇪 Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany
Nuremberg is Bavaria’s second-largest city and the historic site of the Nazi war trials post-WWII. Many landmarks like Kaiserburg Castle and St. Lorenz Church were destroyed during the war and later rebuilt. With its charming canals, laid-back vibe, and urban sophistication, it’s perfect for a 1-2 day trip! 🏰✨ We made sure to try Nuremberg’s famous rostbratwurst sausages (crispier and leaner than elsewhere!) and roasted pork shoulder—its crackling skin tasted just like Cantonese-style "siu yuk"! 🐷🍖 Another discovery: Klöße (German "dumplings"), actually giant potato-bread dumplings with a unique texture—surprisingly tasty! 🥔 And don’t miss the red beer—mellow malt flavor with a smooth finish. Highly recommend! 🍻👍 📍 Highlights History: Nazi Trial Courtroom 600, rebuilt medieval gems Food: Must-eat sausages, pork shoulder, and Klöße Vibe: Waterfront strolls + big-city charm #Nuremberg #NurembergFood #GermanyTravel #TravelDiaries #EuropeTravel
