Grab a coffee at an outdoor café if the weather’s nice 🥤. Frankfurter Dom (Frankfurt Cathedral): A 2-minute walk from Römerberg. This Gothic cathedral once hosted the coronations of Holy Roman Emperors. Climb to the top for panoramic views of the old town, and don’t miss the detailed stained glass and dome inside ⛪. Frankfurt City Hall (Rathaus): Right next to Römerberg—its grand, retro exterior matches the square’s vibe perfectly. Even just admiring its architecture from the outside is a treat 🏛️. Eiserner Steg (Iron Bridge): A 5-minute walk from the cathedral along the Main River. This red pedestrian bridge is a (Internet-famous) spot—you can snap “Jay Chou-style” photos of the river, and it’s covered in love locks for a romantic touch 🔒.
