🇩🇪 Paderborn Day Trip! OBSESSED with Huang He Restaurant!

Just took the train from Dortmund to Paderborn—and wow, it might be my favorite small town in Germany so far! �✨ 🏛️ Paderborn Cathedral: So much prettier than Cologne or Aachen’s Gothic style! The clean, simple lines are chef’s kiss 👌. Plus, the town has cute fountains and water features everywhere. 🍜 THE REAL HIGHLIGHT: Huang He Chinese Restaurant! I spotted it on Too Good To Go and thought, "Perfect, post-sightseeing Chinese food!" 2:30 PM: Walked in, sat down... and the owner (seeing I’m Chinese) said: 🗣️ "Just grab a plate and help yourself!" (Meanwhile, foreigners had to wait till 2:50 PM with their takeout boxes 😂) €5 for an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Chinese buffet… WITH SUSHI! 🍣 Ate 4 plates like a champion. At 3 PM, the waitress urged me: "Chef’s clearing the food—go grab more!" So I "had" to take extra fruit and sushi. 🍉 Even a kind uncle kept egging me on: "Take more salmon! More fruit!" 🥢 💡 Pro Tip: The owner said next time, just call ahead to check if there’s leftover food. Same price, no app needed! (For anyone going: Try calling ~30 mins before closing!) 🚍 Bonus: Sweet German Grandma to the Rescue! Missed checking if my bus went to the station. Panicked… until a lovely old lady not only answered but corrected my German grammar 😭❤️.
