🇩🇪 Schloss Borbeck Festival in Essen 🏰... Seriously...

So. Boring. 😴 Promised "fun rides" 🎢, but couldn't even compete with Düsseldorf's Rhein Festival 🫤. Just a few kiddie attractions and cheap souvenir stalls. Food? Classic German sausages 🌭, ice cream 🍦, giant ginger candies, and spiral potatoes 🥔. The only highlight was two live singers 🎤—my dad saw the pics and roasted: "Isn’t this just a temple fair?" BUT EVEN TEMPLE FAIRS HAVE BETTER SHOWS! 😤 We finished the whole "festival" in 30 minutes 😴. Luckily, there was a grassy field and a tiny lake nearby to kill time—had a long "quacking" conversation with ducks 🦆😂. From the pics, you can see crowds of people... Poor Germans have nowhere fun to go! 🥺 Later I realized Schloss Borbeck was right behind it... and it’s so small 🏰❌! Looks more like a chapel than a castle.
