๐ฉ๐ช Southern Germany, youโre sleeping on Landshut! ๐
Just a 30-minute train ride from Munich, Landshut is the perfect weekend getaway in Southern Germany ๐โจ. This charming small city has so much character โ nothing like the repetitive vibe of big cities. Definitely worth a half-day trip! From Landshut Hbf, just cross the bridge to reach the bus hub. You can either take a bus or enjoy a 30-minute walk to the city center โ easy and scenic. ๐ฐ Trausnitz Castle Built in 1204 by Duke Ludwig I of Bavaria, this hilltop castle is incredibly well-preserved. Climb a few hundred steps (not too steep!) made of red earth, and youโll feel like youโve stepped right into the Middle Ages. The view from the top overlooks the whole town and the Isar River โ absolutely stunning and super photogenic! ๐ธ๐ ๐๏ธ Main Shopping Stree After coming down from the castle, youโll end up right at Landshutโs main pedestrian street. Lined with colorful Southern German-style houses, cute churches, cozy restaurants, and bookstores, itโs simply lovely! I randomly tried a โฌ5 gelato โ and it was amazing! ๐ฆ The town is quiet, the people are friendly, and everything feels like itโs straight out of a fairy tale ๐ง๐ซ. ๐ How to get there: Take trains RE 2, RE 3, or RE 25 from Munich Hauptbahnhof. They run about every 30 minutes. #FairytaleVibes #ClassicalArchitecture #WinterTravelWishlist ๐ฐโ๏ธ
