📍 A long-standing tapas bar in the city center Pata Negra has been a local favorite for years, known for its authentic Spanish vibe and tasty tapas 🫒. However, in recent years, the prices have risen quite sharply 💸, making it less of a casual go-to than it used to be. On my last visit, I was a bit disappointed to find that their alioli (garlic mayo) wasn’t freshly made — it lacked that punch you expect from the real deal 😕. That said, the overall flavor of the tapas is still decent — classic patatas bravas, chorizo al vino, and decent jamón croquetas 🥘. The atmosphere, especially in summer, is still a big draw ☀️. Sitting outside on their terrace with a chilled sangría is pretty delightful 🍷. It’s a nice spot if you’re craving Spanish flavors and want to enjoy Leipzig’s warmer days al fresco.
