🇩🇪 What Even Is This in Göttingen?! 😧

With only 2 hours between trains, I speedran Göttingen and frantically scrolled through to find a highly recommended spot. ⭕️ Vietal Village: Roast duck rice & beef pho First impressions: Sketchy exterior, but packed with people! Roast duck rice (€25-ish?): Sweet-sour sauce, crispy skin... but so bland it couldn’t mask the duck’s gaminess. 🦆 Beef pho (ordered by showing pics): Also mild—my spice-craving soul wept. 🌶️💔 Only win: The beef broth! Rich and comforting. 🍜 Damage: ~€20 for a meal that left us... whelmed. Verdict: ✔️ Local favorite (hence the crowd) ❌ Not for bold flavors—German-Asian fusion at its tamest. 🤷‍♀️ Would I return?
