🇪🇸 Southern Spain Solo Trip | Málaga & Nerja Diaries
✈️ The Ryanair Survival Guide Stockholm→Málaga (4h45) with just a 40L backpack Pro hack: Stuffed my neck pillow with clothes (no bag checks—phew!) PSA: Ryanair landings feel like fighter jet drills 😅 EDC: Anti-theft crossbody bag (a must in Southern Europe!) 🌞 Day 1: Málaga’s Chill Vibes First impression: Few Asian faces (mostly Korean tourists) 🍫 Breakfast: Casa Aranda’s churros + thick hot chocolate (worth the wait!) Lost in translation: Me: English → Locals: Rapid Spanish + hand gestures 🤷♀️ (Solution: Ordered via Google Maps photos 📱) 🎨 Highlights: Picasso Museum (bought too many postcards) Málaga Cathedral + gelato in the garden (birds drinking from fountains 🕊️) Alcazaba fortress → Beach sunset with Patadas de Ahogado on repeat 🎧 🌊 Day 2: Nerja’s "Jellyfish Sea" Bus: ALSA to Nerja (book ahead!) Water so clear it looks Photoshopped 💙💚 Failed plans: Skipped Frigiliana to nap on the beach instead 😴 🍤 Lunch: Restaurante Doña Lola’s garlic shrimp (soaked up every drop of oil with bread!) + fried squid (Sweden could NEVER) 🚌 Bus Fail: Missed my 18:40 return—latecomers board only if seats remain! 💭 Solo Travel Verdict: Spain = Sun + Food + Leisure on steroids. Already planning my next trip! #SoloSpain #MálagaAndChill #RyanairHacks #BeachBumLife #FoodieHeaven #NoPlanJustVibes
