The Former Smurfs Village in Spain 🎊 Júzcar Town 🎊
Júzcar Town 💢 Once upon a time, this was the only officially authorized Smurfs village in the world 🏡 We wound our way through countless turns to arrive at the hidden Smurfs town nestled among the mountains. 💢 It was all because of a movie, “The Smurfs,” that turned the originally white town into the dreamy blue town it is today 🚙🏙 💢 To promote the movie “The Smurfs,” nearly 200 houses in the village, including the school, cemetery, hospital, and all other public facilities, were painted blue using 9,000 kilograms of paint 🎨 💢 Walking into the town, you’ll see characters from the Smurfs stories drawn on walls and displayed in windows. First, there’s the eerily lifelike Gargamel on the wall, whom I used to dislike, and then you search the town for Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Clumsy, Azrael, and more, as if wandering through a blue fairy tale world 🎭🎊 💢 Humming the “Smurfs” song: “On the other side of the mountain, on the other side of the sea, there’s a group of Smurfs…” The memories pulled back now seem to take me back to my childhood 👧 💢 Due to copyright issues, the town no longer calls itself the Smurfs village but is known as the Blue Town, and the legendary large Smurfs statues are no longer there 😙 💢 To be honest, the biggest feature of Júzcar town now is its distinct blue color scheme compared to other places. If this town were still white and without the Smurfs elements, it would be just ordinary, and the road to get here is quite treacherous. There are no iconic buildings that leave a deep impression, so I suggest just looking at pictures might suffice 😜 #OffTheBeatenPath #SpainTravel #TheSmurfs #MyBeautifulDiary #WelcomeToMyWorld #EuropeTravel #SpainHiddenGems #Andalusia #Travel
