The night before yesterday, I dined at the two-Michelin-starred JY's — spent a fortune but left disappointed 😞. Luckily, yesterday was a foodie redemption day! Here are two amazing restaurants I highly recommend: 🏆 1. Caveau Morakopf 📍 Hidden gem away from tourist spots (near our hotel!) Ambiance: Cozy, rustic, and low-ceilinged — perfect for a rainy evening 🌧️. Quiet and intimate, with a relaxed vibe. Food Highlights: Braised Beef: Cooked for 4 hours — incredibly tender! 🐄 Pan-Seared Fish: Crispy skin with almond slices, served with surprisingly sweet boiled veggies (carrots, potatoes, peppers) — I devoured them all! 🐟🥕 Even as a heavy flavor lover, I was won over by their simple yet delicious dishes! 🏆 2. Les Six Montagnes 📍 Highly praised by foodies — and for good reason! Food Highlights: Grilled Squid: Perfectly cooked with flavorful sauce 🦑. Salad with Seafood: Shrimp and scallops were so tasty, even a salad-hater like me loved it! 🥗🦐 Dessert: A magical combo — warm stewed fruit (plums?) + cream + vanilla ice cream 🍦. (Thanks to the waiter for the recommendation!) Mystery: Why isn’t this place packed? It’s in the tourist area and deserves more hype! Both beat JY’s Michelin experience by miles!
