🇫🇷 Bordeaux Brunch 🍨🥓🍳☕️

At first, I was craving Suzzi's bacon for brunch, but they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and always have long lines on weekends. So this time, I decided to try a new place! 📍 Homie's Kitchen Bordeaux 📅 Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; open 10:00-18:00 the rest of the week 📝 The brunch set is 25€, including a hot drink, cold drink, savory plate, and dessert (but I wasn't interested in the set drinks, so I ordered à la carte). 🟨 Pavlova de saison ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ▫️ The pavlova features seasonal fruits and changing jams inside. The cream is super smooth and not overly sweet. The meringue base, however, was way too sweet for me, and I couldn't finish it. 😋 🟨 Eggs Benedict ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ▫️ The eggs Benedict came with crispy, savory bacon and soft bread. The egg yolk was perfectly runny. The only downside was that the accompanying sauce had too much lemon juice—it was quite sour. 🥚 🟨 Ice Cube Latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ▫️ Oh my gosh, their Ice Cube Latte was amazing! I literally said "wow" out loud after the first sip. I've tried so many other places where the coffee, milk, and ice just don't blend well, but this one was perfect.
