Menu 1️⃣ I ordered the seafood pasta, and it was truly delicious. The pasta sauce was packed with crab meat and fish, adding a lot of flavor. 🍝 2️⃣ My friend had the pizza and couldn't stop raving about the crust. She said it felt like she was back in Italy! Hahaha. 🍕 3️⃣ For dessert, we both got tiramisu. To me, it was not overly sweet, which is the highest praise for a dessert. The mascarpone cheese was creamy, and the coffee-soaked biscuits had a slight bitterness that perfectly balanced the richness of the cheese. It was perfect! I'd recommend it over the tiramisu I had in Lyon. 😋 Review of the Restaurant This restaurant is part of the bigmaman Italian food group. Besides this location in Bordeaux, Carmelo in Lyon and Circolo Popolare in London are also directly operated by the same company. All ingredients and chefs are sourced from Italy, and they handle all the procurement themselves to cut out middlemen. This approach helps lower costs while providing the most authentic Italian cuisine and improving both food and service quality. 🌍 The interior decoration is very luxurious, with vintage lighting and an array of plates and bottles. This is a signature style across all three stores and really appeals to a younger crowd. 🎆 They mainly attract new customers through social media like Instagram and word of mouth, so the food quality has to be top-notch! I walked in without a reservation, but booking in advance is a safer bet.
