🇫🇷 The Adorable Little Cat Lighthouse in Brest 🐈🗼
"They say there's a lighthouse where heartbroken people go to leave their sorrows behind." — This line from Wong Kar-wai's Happy Together makes me seek out lighthouses by the sea every time. From downtown Brest, we took Bus 2B (Technopôle-bound) to the terminus, then embarked on a 1.5-hour hike—a journey of sublime solitude through forests and vast farmlands. Reaching the coastline, we followed a winding uphill path until the Petit Minou Lighthouse came into view, where a few couples sat scattered, watching the sunset. 🌅 Even at the "edge of the world," romance finds its way. 📍 Le Phare du Petit Minou, Pointe du Minou, 29280 Plouzané 🚌 Take Bus 2B (towards Technopôle) and get off at the terminus or Plage Ste-Anne, then hike (not very convenient—driving is better!). On our way back, we planned to hitchhike to the bus stop, but a kind Breton woman ended up driving us all the way to our hotel in Brest! 🚗💨 (Turns out the rumors are true—Bretons are the "French Northeasterners"—warm, blunt, and hilariously generous! 😂) #HiddenGemTravels #TravelDiaries #OceanTherapy #France #ExploreBrest 🌊✨
