🇬🇧🇮🇪|£20 Best Value Giant's Causeway Day Trip
I’ve been to the Giant’s Causeway twice – once with a tour group 🚌 and once by public bus. Without a doubt, the tour experience was infinitely better! — 🎫 Price 1️⃣ Day tour: Just £20 (Book the cheapest option on GetYourGuide – same itinerary!) 2️⃣ Public bus: Day ticket £10 – not exactly cheap either. — 🗺️ Route 1️⃣ Day Tour The tour follows a scenic route designed for sightseeing 🏞️. You’ll see everything – ocean views, mountains, even snowy landscapes ❄️. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful 😍! Pro tip: Sit on the right side of the bus. And it’s not just the Giant’s Causeway – the tour also stops at smaller attractions along the way. They allow time for a warm lunch too 🍲. Check the photo order for the exact route and sights! 2️⃣ Public Bus The bus mainly serves local residents 🏘️, so don’t expect scenic views – no ocean glimpses, just one small town after another. It takes you straight to the Giant’s Causeway and that’s it. You could theoretically also visit Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge 🌉 with some planning, but it was closed due to strong winds when we went. — 🤔 Additional Notes 1️⃣ Day Tour The guide gives commentary at various spots 🗣️. The only downside is limited time at the Causeway – only enough to walk one trail (red or blue) 🥲, so you might miss the Giant’s Organ. 2️⃣ Public Bus Remember to pack lunch 🥪! Otherwise, it’s hard to find food – you’d have to get off in a town midway. — Overall, the Giant’s Causeway is totally worth it! On the coast near the Giant’s Organ, you can even find seashells 🐚. Lots of people wedge coins into the cracks between the stones too. Finally – dress warm, dress very warm – it’s crazy windy! 🌬️ #NorthernIreland #UK #GiantsCauseway #Travel #Belfast #DayTrip #TravelTips #StudentTravel
