🇬🇧 | Dublin → Belfast: One Day of Food & Sights (Part 1)
🚄 Transport Took the Irish Rail from Dublin Connolly Station at 9:50 AM → direct to Belfast (2-hour ride). I have a UK visa; my friend doesn’t. Ticket checks only – no visa inspection either way ✅. Returned on the 19:00 train to Dublin. Visited 3 attractions + had 2 meals – plenty of time for slow-paced city walking 🚶♀️. 🏛️ Attractions 1️⃣ City Hall Went straight from the train station (10-15 mins walk). Beautiful light through the windows ✨, rich history exhibits. There’s a fun human-sized Temple Run interactive game – loved it! 🎮😂 2️⃣ Victoria Square About 10+ mins walk from City Hall – a large shopping district 🛍️. Huge Boots store + tons of brands you won’t see in (smaller) Irish towns! 3️⃣ Queen’s University Stunning British-style architecture 🏛️🌸 – classic and grand. The Student Union building is super modern ☯️. Lucky with sunny weather + spring blooms – perfect vibe! 4️⃣ Botanic Gardens Right behind Queen’s University 🌿🌵. Has outdoor areas + a tropical greenhouse (note: greenhouse closes at 15:00!). Spotted a little squirrel eating pinecones on a tree 🐿️🌲 – so cute! Part 2 coming soon – all about the food! 🍽️ #Belfast #DublinLife #TravelUK #OneDayTrip #CityWalk
