🇬🇧 A Week in Nottingham | New Beginnings & Little Joys

It’s been a meaningful and fun-filled week here in Nottingham! ✨ 🏫 Park Campus Registration The at University Park was so crowded – reminded me of school enrollment days back home 😄👫. So many new faces, everyone excited (and a bit lost haha). 🛒 Superhaul Madness Witnessed the legendary purchasing power of international students 🛍️💥. Shelves in Tesco and Aldi were nearly empty – everyone stocking up on snacks, noodles, and of course, baked beans 🥫👀. 🦌 Wollaton Park Highlights Visited on a sunny day – perfect for photos! 📸🌿 The deer were calmly roaming, and the hall looked majestic under the blue sky. So peaceful to just wander around. 🍳 Full English Breakfast Tryout The bacon was a bit salty… but honestly? So tasty and crispy 🥓👌. Not everyday food, but definitely a mood. 🍗 Jollibee vs KFC Debate I’m team Jollibee – their original chicken is chef’s kiss 🤤🍗. My partner insists KFC is better though… the great chicken debate of 2024 begins 🐔😆. 📦 Ikea Trip & Room Setup Also made a trip to Ikea – because what’s studying abroad without some DIY furniture struggles? 🛠️🛏️ Almost lost my mind building that Billy bookcase 😵‍💫… but so worth it. It’s been a week of new rhythms, small wins, and lots of snacking. Can’t wait to share more soon!
