Been coming here since I was a kid and it's just as good now!! The hall itself is magnificent from the outside and the grounds are kept immaculately. Security staff are very friendly and there's so much to do including the inside tours of the Nottingham History Museum within the Hall, play areas for the kids, and a ton of space for ball games, picnics, and the like. The gardens out back are expansive and beautiful as well and if you're lucky you can be pretty close to the local deer herd as well which was amazing. It was closed when I went last but I hear there is a smaller museum inside the stables too. Coffee shops and gift shops are on site as well with varying degrees of quality but the coffee we had was pretty good. Staff in those shops could be a little more helpful however. All in all its a varied and wonderful place that could probably do with a few adjustments in some areas. Eg the museum needs to bring back more of the taxidermy as its historic and very unique and educational. Also the parking is diabolical, expensive for one but also requires an app to use which is Ill thought out considering there's literally no signal there. So it loses a star for that but otherwise a fantastic day out.

Lovely park and grounds set within an historic estate. I've now been to the park on several occasions when visiting family who live locally. There are plenty of walking routes to choose from and multiple entrances in and out of the park. The hall is the centre piece of area and provides views across the park and the surrounding area. This location has been used as a filming location for several films and period dramas and it's unusual for a hall like this to still be readily available to access in a public space. The facilities on site are very well used and of a high standard. The main playground includes lots of equipment and can appeal to children of all ages. Every time we've visited it has been extremely busy so if your children need less stimulation you may wish to take this into consideration. Within the estate there is also a golf course that is frequented by deer roaming. Down by the lake you can take a circular route, which is a lovely walking treat in its own right and it feels a little less busy if you want to have some space to yourself. All in all this is a 5 star park and a local Nottingham gem that is truly worth discovering.

A great place to visit in any weather. lots going in and things to see. Babies - there are paths although they can be busy around the car parks. Baby changing is available and also change units in the men's toilets. To gain access to the hall you cannot take pushchairs. There is a buggy park outside. Less mobile - disabled blue badge spaces next to the hall and wheelchair lift to the right. Getting around the grounds would be a rolling hills landscape with steep on as leading to the hall. Family fun- usually events going on and a good play area for children. has a cafe and toilets attached and is conveniently next to the car park car park- £3 for 3 hours. takes the go ringo app also cafes and toilets - a few to choose from. coffee and tea is reasonably priced and they are well decorated and staffed. mobile drinks vans also around the park Dog's- dog friendly cafe with drinking water outside lots of space to walk. Dear and ducks on the loose though so watch out overall a lovely park for walking, running, couples and families

Great park suitable and accessible to everyone at all times of year. Great for cycling, walking, nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. The Hall is quite some piece of architecture (and featured in one of the Batman films). Very well kept gardens around the Hall. Superb golf course. Great in summer for picnics. Play area for children. Great concerts and outdoor operas/plays and various events (vintage car shows, funfairs, markets, sporting events, etc etc check the website/Nottingham City). The Christmas light show is awesome. Well maintained paths all around. Amazing trees (one of the largest/oldest oak trees in Britain). Stunning in autumn foliage. Deer and wildlife roam free. Small cafe area (drinks and snacks only) and small souvenir shop. Washrooms. Takes 2hrs if you want to walk round the whole park. But just 5 mins from car park area to the Hall; how far you go after that is up to you! Free entrance to the park area; pay and display parking. Closed overnight. Dogs must be kept on leash. Enjoy!

Loved the grounds. Very well maintained. Lots of wildlife to take in. Great for long or short walks (and jogging). The big house is worth seeing. Batman was apparently filmed there. There are deer wandering the grounds so a great treat for children and adults. This place is also great for picnics and they also have an outdoor cinema in summer. It could do with a proper tea/coffee shop (unless I missed it). Dave with the mobile coffee shop still stood out as a great alternative. Dave is a very pleasant person who serves great drinks. Coffee was great according to my wife and my sister. The Earl Grey tea for me was perfect. One downside. The parking payment system was awful. Could not download the app due to slow Internet connection. Tried calling the number. That went into meltdown as it kept repeating what details it wanted. In the end I had to download the app slowly and go through its painfully slow screens. On that I would say my mobile company let me down.

Wollaton Park is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen, as it offers many beauties. The park has a very large green area and a lake that creates a habitat for many animal species. You will feel yourself in touch with nature on the walkways covered with trees. The most important structure in the park is Wollaton Hall. Completed in 1588, this Grade I listed building has been home to Middleton Barons for centuries and was purchased by the council in 1925 and turned into a museum. The building currently houses a nice natural history museum. By the way, for cinephiles, it was Bruce Wayne's home known as Wayne Manor in a Batman film called 'The Dark Knight Rises'. The park, which also includes Nottingham Industrial Museum, is intertwined with the city. If you are around Nottingham, don’t forget to visit this park; but remember, the park is owned by deer; people are just guests.
