🇬🇧 Belfast Travel Guide: Getting Around 🚌🚗
I recently spent 2 days in Belfast and checked many bus guides on Xiaohongshu before the trip – they all seemed so complicated, mentioning apps and whatnot 😵. I decided to ignore them, and guess what? It’s actually super easy! 1️⃣ Bus Day Ticket 🚌 No need to download any app! Just hop on the bus and ask the driver for a day ticket (except Glider buses – they don’t sell tickets onboard). A day ticket costs £5 and can be used on Glider buses too. 2️⃣ Taxi 🚗 I tried three ways to get around by taxi: 👉 Airport Taxi: Landed at BHD at 9 PM – just followed the "Taxi" signs. No booking needed. Taxis kept coming, just like in Chinese airports. Easy and efficient! 👉 Uber: Took one from near Queen’s University to the Titanic Museum – cost around £6. Waited about 10 mins. Not as convenient as Uber in London though. 👉 Local App – fonaCAB: Booked via the app the night before for a 5 AM ride to BHD airport. Got a WhatsApp message 10 mins before pickup saying the driver was on the way 🚙. They arrived right on time! Slightly cheaper than airport taxis. #BelfastTravel #Belfast #NorthernIreland #Queen’sUniversity #TravelTips #FastPacedTravel
