This weekend, I ventured to Loddington Farm (southeast of London) for some cherry-picking fun β and it was absolutely worth it! π π Getting There: π From Waterloo: ~2h by train + bus πΆββοΈ Then a 25-min walk (a bit far, but the cherries made up for it!) π Cherry Report Card: π΄ Dark red cherries: Insanely sweet β like eating candy! π‘ Yellow cherries: Naturally fruity sweet (fewer trees, so hunt carefully!) π Pro tip: Mix both types to avoid flavour fatigue! π Lessons Learned: Picked too many... Ate too many... Paid the price with a stomachache π₯² Brought leftovers home and made dried cherries (70Β°C for 12 freaking hours β³ β but so worth it!
