🇬🇧 Hastings: A Soul-Stirring Seaside Escape

After my London vaccine left me feeling blue, a spontaneous trip to Hastings—the historic fishing town where Harold met William in 1066—became my unexpected therapy. 💕 📍 Hastings Beach 🏖️ The moment the pebble beach came into view, my shoulders relaxed. Perched on a driftwood log, I listened to waves crash, skipped stones, and laughed with fearless seagulls. Pure coastal bliss. 📍 East Hill The famed cliff railway was closed, but fate led me to a tiny museum. There, a sweet grandpa—eyes twinkling—shared stories of his travels across Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, and Hong Kong. His awe at China’s growth? Infectious. ❤️ 📍 West Hill Hiking up the opposite cliff, I gasped—pastel houses tumbling toward the sea looked straight out of Italy’s Cinque Terre! Sat for hours, soaking up rare English sun, watching gulls dance over emerald waves. 🏡🌊 📍 Old Town Wandered cobbled lanes past antique shops, bookstores, and pubs. Watched influencers film, dads push strollers, and strangers exchange smiles. This is the slow, joyful life London forgets. Why I Travel: To trade stories with souls I’d never meet otherwise. For that fleeting intersection of lives—a reminder that the world is small and kind. 🥂✨ #LondonLife #UKTravel #SeasideTherapy
