🇬🇧 Highly Recommend! Giant's Causeway from Belfast 🚌🥾
1️⃣ Public transport is super convenient – no need to join a tour! Take bus 221 directly from the city. It stops at 2-3 locations downtown – just choose the one closest to you (your map app will guide you 🗺️). Departure times from City Hall are: 8:25, 9:25, and 10:25 AM. You can buy tickets on board. Return buses leave at 2:10, 3:10, and 4:10 PM. Even if you miss the 221, you can take bus 402 and transfer to a train – your navigation app will guide you in real time. Don’t worry about getting back! 😊 2️⃣ It's a hiker’s paradise! 🥾 The trails are incredibly well-marked, safe, and easy to follow. No need to worry about getting lost, being alone, or safety issues – there are plenty of tourists but never overcrowded. The paths are clear and the views are stunning. In my opinion, it’s even better than the Lake District or hiking around Glasgow – better scenery, more convenient, and safer! 3️⃣ There’s a cute tourist train 🚂 that runs between Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills. I took the last train at 3:00 PM to Bushmills, arrived at 3:30, walked a few hundred meters to the town’s bus stop, and perfectly caught the last 221 back to Belfast at 4:15. Flawless! ✅ 4️⃣ If you love hiking and have the energy, consider walking from Bushmills to the Giant’s Causeway (or vice versa). There’s a walking path right next to the train tracks with absolutely breathtaking scenery 🌊🌿. Quite a few people hike it – I bet it’s an amazing experience! 5️⃣ The least interesting part is actually the Giant’s Causeway itself 😅… Everyone climbs up for photos, but honestly, it’s a bit boring and not very safe. Not really necessary! The rock formations look pretty similar to the columnar joints in Fujian, China or Jeju Island, South Korea. 6️⃣ This journey has almost every kind of beautiful scenery you can imagine: mountains ⛰️, sea 🌊, streams 💧, pastures 🐄, meadows 🌾, wildflowers 🌸, blue skies and white clouds ☁️… It’s a must-do experience in a lifetime! ✨ #CulturalSights #UKTravel #NorthernIreland #Belfast #BelfastTravel
