Just discovered this adorable new Italian spot in Riverbend area, and it's definitely going on my repeat-visit list! πŸ“ Cavatappi Ristorante & Cappuccino Bar (A quiet find in a mostly residential white neighborhood - cafe was busy but restaurant empty!) 🍝 Londonlicous Lunch Review (CAD$45pp) THE HITS: βœ… Homemade Pasta - Thick, chewy noodles with mushroom & beef ragu (so much meat!) βœ… Tiramisu - Authentically Italian = not too sweet, just like my nonna's recipe! βœ… Gelato - Creamy perfection (again, not oversweetened - hallelujah!) βœ… Mussels - White wine & tomato broth = chef's kiss (portion was perfect before getting too salty) THE MISSES: ❌ Sophia Loren Cocktail - Tasted like cherry cough syrup + harsh gin (avoid!!) β­• Mona Lisa Cocktail - Pretty but zero alcohol kick Bonus: Their bread basket was fresh-baked and endless! Pro Tip: Skip the third course - portions are huge and their pasta will fill you up! Anyone else tried Cavatappi?
