Visited the highly recommended Monmouth Coffee Company—known as one of London’s top-tier specialty coffee shops ☕️—and while the coffee was indeed exceptional, I was completely surprised by their canelé! It genuinely made my day—pure happiness in every bite! 🐷💖 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Canelé The exterior was perfectly firm and caramelized, while the inside remained incredibly moist and tender. Not too sweet, just the right size, and paired beautifully with coffee. Honestly, even better than the one I tried at Bird Coffee! 🐦❌ The only downside is they only offer the classic flavor—no fancy variations. I’d kill for an Earl Grey canelé someday… 😭🍂 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cortado This cortado was aromatic, rich, and superbly balanced—no sourness or earthy bitterness at all. The oils were glossy and inviting 👌, and the flavor stayed consistently delightful from the first sniff to the last sip. My only nitpick: the latte art was a bit basic… come on, put some heart into it! 😂 Still, full points for taste.
